Sniper Racing FMIC Install
Has anyone ever used this kit from sniper racing. I have the problem that my powersteering sits on the pipe from the throttle body to the intercooler. and pushes it hard up against the strut tower. Is the engine, once running going to crush this pipe?
Heres some pics of just what i mean its super tight up in there (i had to remove the power steering fit the pipe and then put the pump back on!!!)

I'm guessing you have an S4...the Sniper kit is based on the Greddy kit which is made for an S5
-which has a different power steering bracket
It's going to dent the **** out of the pipe, I'd try to fab up another pipe or cut the section out that goes between the PS pump and the strut tower and replace it with a long silicone coupler

All these little things keep poping up. Just realised my s4 replacement keg dosent match up wid my s5 lower inlet manifold (turbo water bypass, keg has it on front housing and manifold is on rear!), so now im stuck with water pressurising in the lim and bypassing out of the gasket, and hopefully not into the manifold!!!!(luckt im not driving it yet!!! anyone know where to run the return line alternatly??
Oh P.s here is a pic of the installation guide photo?

I have a sniper kit in mine, and yeah, had to belt the crap out of it to make it fit. Now it transmits quite a bit of whining through the car, as it still rubs. I have been told i have an NA p/s pump, but I'm not sure on that. whole kit was a bitch to fit, was kinda worth it though, as the car feels like it does go a bit better when hot.

I'd swap to a manual rack before trying that DIY relocation....frees up a shitton of room in the bay and gets you a spec more power.
-thats actually my next project after I finish my oil cooler lines/radiator endeavor

wasn't too bad, lots of fiddly little things. the fuse box and one of the coil packs had to be relocated, which both had to have wiring extended. also had to cut one corner off the battery tray, 2 new holes for the piping to go through. fair bit of trimming of the front bar to get it to sit nice. factory airbox would no longer fit, so had to use a pod filter, with a new intake pipe to suit. one other thing, i would recommend putting a bead of devcon or quicksteel around where the silicone joiner goes onto the cooler itself, as every time i hit full boost, the bloody thing would come off. being where it is, you need to remove the bumper to slide it back on,not fun!!!! sorry bout the novel length post, guys!!!

got mine off the net, from psi parts. was worth the effort in the end, but lots of patience required. I reckon my neighbours learnt quite a bit about aussie slang, as they're immigrants, hehe!!!
