Smoking out When Starting UP

After my car has sat for a certain amount of time... say when it goes to the 3k idle, i notice that when i go to start it up white smoke comes out from my exhaust... what could be causing this problem? I tried to do a search, but it yielded nothing.. Please help me thanks

Smoke at startup is perfectly normal. It's probably just a little oil smoke. Something that has to be put up with. You'll get used to it soon enough!

oh im already used to it, just wondering if there was anything causing it that i could fix

you should try "STP oil treatment" it comes in a blue bottle and is about as thick as maple syrup. you add it to your oil every oil change.( takes HELLA long to get all that **** out of the bottle) it helps a little for the engines that are a little old and smokey. hope this helps
