I finally got my T2 started. At first it blew white smoke for a few mins, the started blowing blue and black smoke. Drove around a few blocks and it was stilling blowing a heavy amount of smoke. It keeps flooding and is running very rich, it can barely hold idle. I think its a vacuum leak, or bad hose placement.

The hoses I think are mixed up are the ones above the turbo where there is like three hoses the go to metal tubes that are welded together, mine has three, but my friend's had four metal hoses welded together, I'm not sure if I have them going to the right holes.

Can anyone post a picture of a stock S4 and S5 hoses.

Both of our cars are 87s, but neither of us know if the engines have been swapped. I do know my friends car doesn't have rev or fuel cut, and will fly to 170 with no problem, but he doesn't know if the computer has been upgraded or what....so someone might have swapped a s5 motor to use a modified ecu?
