Unhappy Throttle Plates... 15% open

Hey guys, I've got a question. The throttle plates on my throttle body seem to be having a problem, they only look they're open about 15-20%. I know how to fix this, I need tighten up the accelerator cable. I was just wondering how much of a difference I will get form being able to actually get my throttle open full now??

HAH! That's funny (sad, but funny). I think it's safe to say that you will feel quite a bit of difference.

which plates are you looking at? if you looking at the first 2 on top while the motor is cold, the thermowax should be preventing them from opening all the way. try checking it out when it is warmed up.

Are you talking about the two on the intake side of the TB or the 3 on the engine side?
