Smoke and basically very little oil in motor

Smoke and basically very little oil in motor

car is a 88 vert with a 91 t2 swap large streetport, no omp stock turbo, stock boost, micro tech standalone and other little goodies. Keep in mind I've only had this car for 4 days and didn't build it. On my way home from a friends house cruising on the freeway, no full throttle or any hard pulls of sort and I'm going to get off the off ramp and the car dies after putting it into neutral and would restart and die again then wouldn't restart at the light. Pushed it into the parking lot smoking like crazy, no fire of any sort and coolant temp was fine. No oil pressure gauge or oil temp gauge. I'm assuming there's supposed to be something here. What do I use to cap it and what damage could possibly be done to the motor?



What's supposed to be on that port behind the spark plug?

Yeah, that's where the heater hose goes...do you not have coolant in your engine?

I also love the t-tap and torn wire in the picture.

yea lower heater hose right under the oil filter pedestal, ive had 2 of those hoses go on my fc's while out driving. Yea if you dont have that hooked up your out of coolant real quick.
cant tell what the t-tap and broken wire plug into, something for the micro tech standalone, prob somewhat important....might want to get some things fixed on this car if the engine isnt blown by now.
Like a build sheet from the previous owner/builder

No there's coolant in it, coolant temp was perfect. Anything done to this is by the previous owner

Oil was coming out of that outlet, not coolant which is why im confused

Motors toast, pulling it out and getting sent back out to Cali to the rotary lab. Owner is really cool and this motor had only 3000 miles on it and had a year warranty so he's going to fix whatever's wrong and send it back.

Hopefully you don't have a headache on your hands fixing other things like that broken wire/missing heater hose when it gets back. Good luck.

usually warranties don't cover blown hoses/over heating as thats not motor related to the rebuild
