smog test?

kinda what I fiqured. Hope to have the pictures up on the scca site soon. i think it is www.angelfire/ms2/scca this could be wrong If it is I'll try again to find it.

I tried it to right after I closed this window. I can't find it on my computer so I will have to resort to finding it on the paper copy, hanging on Nathan's refrigerator.
Tech question for ya: I want to put on a header. I looked at the Racing Beat headers. they have a streetable header collector for 180 then a race header no collector for dual applications for 134. I want to take off the smog pump. Does the six ports open from the exhaust gases running back up from the presilencer, or from the smog pump blowing on the acuators? I have an 89 GTU. I searched it here and have seen it written both ways. I also finally found out that a buick regal electric fan fits the old bolt holes on the radiator shroud. Now I just need to fix the intake box. I want to paint this car silver with two blue stripes and a different front bumper kit with a blue mesh grill and the letters RX-7 painted in silver on the mesh. If I get the engine in this weekend then I will start on the paint. I hope to someday get pictures up on nathan's site or on this forum, but I have to finish it first.

the 89 has the VDI junk that has something to do with the 6-ports...I have a 4th series so I have to rely on backpressure. So, I cant really answer your question
