ok idk wha happend my alt belt broke the other day so when i repplaced it i noticed my smog pump belt was bad so i took it off at the time. i drove the car for maybe 30miles with out it and my exhaust started to smoke baddly!! after 10 mins it went away n i noticed a 1" hole near the cat flanges. I went to losen the bolt for the pump n it snapped off so my pump is no out of the car n im goin to put t bak in but can i just leave it off? wha do i do with the rubber hose that goes into the exhaust? safe to drive with out it? thanks

 

kill the hose, seal the hole in the cat. Or just replace with a new cat/ straight pipe
