3rd time trying

Went out for my pre-test today. Put a bottle of Berryman "No Pass, No Pay" in with half tank of 91 octane. Heated cat up, drove for 15 minutes (hard driving), and idled for 15 minutes while waiting for the test. Passed pretty clean I might say. Well it actually failed, stupid Autozone gas cap wasn't holding pressure. Come Monday, I'm off to the dealer for a new gas cap and then to the Smog Only place. Should pass with new gas cap

the point is to have the easiest burning fuel. 91 oct is harder to burn so it is probably going to leave more crap behind and make you fail more often. IMO I am not saying use it all the time just for the test.

Higher octane fuel means tht it will resist ignition MORE. Therefore it is harder to burn. 87 oct will be the easiest burning fuel from a gas station. If I am wrong please correct me.
