slow rpm rev

when i rev the car the rpms go up slow it will rev all the way up but slow. i remember about 3000k miles ago when i got the engine done the car reved up FAST but now it doesn't. driving low rpms the car crawls higher rpms it moves but not like it should. engine has lg street port, fmic rb exhaust walbro intake and some other stuff but any responces would be useful thanx in advance. damn i hate when my 7 ain't runnin right!

Does it have a very rough idle as well (sort of like a lawnmower, or a V8 with insane race cams)? That would tend to be a sign of a blown engine.

If it's revving slow and lacking power, you need to start at the simple stuff. Any gasoline engine takes 3 things to produce power: Compression, fuel, and a spark. Check all of them.

idle is fine. i'll have to check the others thanx for the responce.
