So I had an entirely different trains of thought here recently (last night) about what might be going on with my S5 GXL. At first, I thought that there might be an issue with the TPS adjustment/functionality. However, I have since replaced the unit (Thanks Derekcat/Spyder/FD3S Engineering) but am still having an isssue. This time however, it seems that the loss of power is less aggressive. For those mentioned above, you'll remember that it was a very violent thing before and now it feels like the clutch is slipping. The thing is, when we replaced the transmission the other day, we also replaced the clutch disc as well. Could this still be the problem? It only happens when accelerating and is mild enough that I wonder if I simply need to fill up my gas tank. I know it's kind of a broad range of possible results and you have my apologies. It's early. In any event, anyone have any ideas?

Put the car in fifth, if the rpm raises faster then the mph then its slipping.

Le sigh. It's the TPS again. My engine now revs at me again during warm up. As for trying to drive in 5th, I don't think I could pull it off unless I was already rolling down a hill or something...
