Slightly Blown Coolant Seal
Runs rough on start up. Sweet smell on more than a normal amount of white smoke. Overflow tank filling up with coolant without getting sucked back into the system.
Ran a champagne test. Got a stream of really small bubbles once the idle smoothed out.. maybe the size of a grain of sand if not smaller. Each one was like a little packet of despair injected straight into my heart.
I took good care of her, too! Old car, I guess.
I can't afford this right now. I'm desperate enough to maybe go out and get some of that Alumaseal, but I'm afraid of ruining what could be a reusable turbo core.
I don't know why I'm posting.. everyone's going to tell me what I already know. Maybe a few people will tell me to go ahead and use the stop leak.
Lotsa stress. Not enough sleep.. But hey at least I'm done with school for the quarter!
How soon will it get worse?
I'ma go imbibe. Thanks for reading.

use the alumaseal now before it gets worse. leave it in the system for a good while, driving the car around for a few days instead of flushing it straight out.
yes it's best to just rebuild it and get it over with, but timing is almost never convenient for things like this.
have one for me too, i just got about $600 in bills in the mail today for total random bullshit, doesn't even include the $300 bill im going to get for the speeding ticket i got while tuning on a mainly deserted road.
