slamming on the brakes makes the 7 veer right?

I was driving down the road at night, and a deer jumped out in front of me. I slammed on the brakes, and the car took a sharp veer right (maybe 45 degrees), and eventually made an entire 180 degree turn.

So what might be wrong that my car's not staying straight when braking?

Perhaps one of your driver's side rotors is warped? (creating inconsistent friction)

I am going to go out on a limb and give you that your pads are good. Rotors need cut or caliper bad.

Or you were just on a pited / uneven road that pulls and you lost controll.

How about you had the steering slightly to the right when you hit the brakes?

My car veered slightly when braking. Turned out one of my rear calipers were stuck in the "open" position, and eventually started leaking fluid. I had to replace the caliper. Check your left calipers.

Hmm. That is certainly possible, along with the road being uneven. But it is not the first time I've slammed on the brakes and the 7 started going wobbly (though it is the first time it spun out). So let's assume that those two are not the cause. What would you suspect then?

If the alignment is off you could consistently get the effect of it pulling like you were turning to the right some.
