slack in my new tii throtle cable

slack in my new tii throtle cable
ok so. i just did a tii swap. and bought the throtle cable i needed. told them i needed an 87 tii throtle cable.
well i installed it and it has about 1/2 an inch of slack. the yellow stopper is 1/2 inch away from the hole where the pettle holds it . and the pettle is really loose untill i press it down enough to hit the stopper on the cable.
now there isnt any adjustments on the cable itself. and i was trying to inspect the pettle itself and it doesnt seem there are adjustments either. at least i cant see them when laying under my stupid dash with a flashlight.
its really annoying. and i feel i cant get WOT right now because of it. (Though i aint WOT any way cuz its a rebuilt engine)
