skydivr73's injector trouble
Hi! I'm posting this for skydivr73...
He has a 1986 GXL - stock
When he tries to start the car, fuel comes out of 3 of the 4 injectors--the primary injectors and one of the secondary injectors come on.
He swapped injectors, and knows they all work; none are clogged.
What would cause only one secondary injector to come on at startup?
Is it true that the secondaries should NOT come on at startup?
He was told that the ECU is probably causing the problem and it needs to be changed.
Any comments or suggestions??? He's got a trip to Louisiana riding on this......
