Sizes to send Griffin for custom radiator

Anyone have a sketch with sizes of the stock radiator to send Griffin. Since K2RD said it was gonna be a while for them to get theirs in stock I was thinking about having them build one. I really don't want to go rip mine out just to measure it though if someone already has all the dimensions.

Thanks

Mainly the price is why I dont want to use it. I wanted to use K2RD's but backorder sucks when you want to get a car back together

I've got a 26x19 but that's too big for your car, unless you want to do a lot of work moving stuff to make it fit.

Has anyone used a "NON-RX7" specific aluminum radiator? One with the same location for hoses, of course. I will make it fit.

Id rather hack a little and save $100-150.

The griffin IS a non-RX7 specific radiator.

However, you have to get it custom made to get the hose locations right. Or you end up with my car, with hoses strewn accross the car.

I'm using the Griffin 22x19 Ford radiator which has the hose connections on the top-right and bottom left of the radiator. The hose sizes are slightly bigger than the OEM size, but with a little ingenuity, that won't present any problems.

You can save considerable money by using an "off the shelf" radiator size vs. buying one that is "custom fit". For example, a custom radiator for an RX7 from many vendors is $400 and up. I can sell 22x19 Griffin radiators all day long for $199!!! I used to do the same thing for the Mustang guys. Custom Mustang=$450. Griffin 31x19 radiator that drops right in,= $219. Saving money to spend on other go-fast goodies = PRICELESS!!!

If anyone is interested in trying one, call me at 800-882-7231, team@racecareng.com or visit www.racecareng.com .
