sorry but the os is not the smallest rotary eng ........there is a rotary eng developed that is smaller than a PENNY .....if you are curios to see pics i belive its in monito sites

It was developed recently, like within the past 6 months. It runs on hydrogen and could be used to power laptops, small electronics.

I'd love to have one in my electric shaver.

Had not thought about it, because it's pretty insignificant in the whole thing. Either a trimmed stock weight, or machine a new one. *shrug*

What applications are you considering for the engine? Go-Kart? Riding Lawnmower?

At El cojon speedway in california they have weekend events with single rotor rx7s that race in a oval track. Like once a month I think... Seems cheap to do.

NZConvertible, that is not the smallest rotary engine. The smallest rotary was made in San Francisco. It is 1 or 2 inches in diamater, and they are used to recharge the batteries for laptops.
