The 4 piston comes with a small hardline, that snakes up to the side of the strut, and joins with a small flexible line there. The 1 has flexible line all the way to the caliper (with a banjo bolt IIRC). However, I don't know if that's one big line, or two lines connected together. My first hunch however, get the hardlines for certain, and get the softlines (or spring for SS lines)
