Single Exhaust catbacks. Driver's side exit?

Ive searched, a lot. I found some things, but not much.
The car is an 88 TII. I want a single exhaust, i like RB dont get me wrong, its on my first gen, (also a single) but I don't want
a) Dual exhaust
b) Giant rocket launcher cannon muffler (APEXi N1, JIC, Border) etc

I like the look of this catback,
The Buddy Club Spec II. I also only found 1 other thread about that catback on here after searching. I like how it almost looks like a "race pipe" all the way back.

Do any of you have cat back exhausts that exit on the driver's side on your FC's?
That is primarily the main reason for this thread. I am looking for ones that exit on the driver's side.

Or does anyone have this BC Spec II catback?
Thanks in advance!

i was plannin on buying the buddy club exhaust but held off on it. But i decided that im gonna make my own custom exhaust system. You might wanna check out the corksport, it's cheap and i heard it is pretty good. Some may say its loud tho, but they make a silencer for it.

Think Corksport is loud? Try to imagine the Buddy Club catback. The BC catback is basically a straight pipe with no mufflers, only one resonator in the middle and a big chromed tip coming out the back.

What's the rest of your exhaust going to be like? If you have no other mufflers or silencers in the system, then the Buddy Club system will leave you with permanent hearing damage and a glovebox full of tickets.

I have a SSAC Turbo Back. It probably has the "Giant rocket launcher cannon muffler " that you don't like but, it's really not that big.

That's not that bad, looks nice. a little big for me. still, tasteful.

As for the noise of the Buddy Club, Im in AZ cops could care less.
theres more ricers with fat fart cans out here than you could ever imagine.
Im sure I will end up doing a presilencer setup if I end up getting this catback.
I am keeping the cat also, not because of laws, because I would rather keep everything so its easy to be switched out when emissions time comes.

Yeah, with the turbo, it quiets it down a bit and has a nice rumble down low but, it screams up high. The NA will definatly be loud, but if you keep the cat and a presilencer yours should sound pretty good. I got my DP,"Race" Cat and CB for about $200.

here's the pic of the rear from my car (and i forgot to mention the pipe goes out the passenger side..oops)

on the plus side, it may look a lil ricer but the sound imo is great. it's sorta got the low humming rumble you'd hear from a v8. kinda like barry white humming. i like it

You know I was gonna make a custom exhaust and was thinking of a look like the one on the skyline. After seeing that I'm definitely gonna do it now. It looks great

I currently have the 3" turbo back Motoria stainless exhaust. Exits out of the drivers side but it is VERY loud. Not something for everybody expecially someone who doesn't like noise.

Motoria/SSAC same thing. It's not that loud.

Or maybe I'm used to it. Either way, it's quieter than most exhausts of this style around here.

I run a apexi GT spec. Its a large exhaust, but hides well. Sounds great, and you cant beat the performance

Yeah, I have got used to it so it doesn't seem that loud. I am louder than most LS1's and other sport compacts running around here with aftermarket exhausts.

Yeah, pretty much the same, just in half. Also, in the picture above they have the silencer in. I have it...just never use it.

Thanks for all the help and input. Someone should work their P shop skills and see what the Buddy Club looks like on a white s4 or s5.

I just saw some pics of both the Motoria and SSAC and I noticed the SSAC has a race cat. Maybe that's why some are saying it's quiet and others aren't? I currently have stock exhaust and also looking for a decent exhaust. The price of the SSAC seems to be excellent considering it's a turbo back I think I just may have found what i'm looking for.

PS: I tried not to be one of those once a weekers about exhaust by browsing everyone elses post (no offense to those that do). Thanks for saving me the trouble of posting. I'm sure you guys will appreciate having one less thread to answer.

Actually...we do. Thanks for not doing that.

Hmm...It could just be that some people just have the Motoria/SSAC cat back and still have everything else...or maybe some people are just more used to the sounds.
