Single or Dual channel o2 sensor?

Right now i have an '87 t2 (running wolf 3d v4) and need to get it tuned. There is a chance i might get a good deal on a used Dual channel AEM uego o2 controller... Is it worth the money or am i better off just getting a new single channel? I've heard its (dual) not necessary...

Probably better off asking in the Wolf EMS section.
