Angry Since i went premix my car started getting hotter!

hey guys somehow the engine is getting hotter... after the premix and about 40-50 miles the engine gets a bout half way hot. When i ha dthe oil metering system it was always below the 25% mark but now its always between the 25% and 50%.. their is smoke coming from the bottom of the alternator... headers maybe??? i don't know but somehow is getting hotter. could it be that it has a 70% water 30% coolant??this has never happened before.. i know that maybe one of my coolant seasls might be broken ( but it was like taht about 5 months ago.. and still it never got that hot ) half way hot? with driving only 40-50 miles changing gears at 3-4k rpms??

You probably are leaking coolant, and that's the cause of your smoke AND your high temps. Check the line that goes to the back of the waterpump.

ive run premix in several sevens and have had nothing short of success. I agree with sonicrat try the coolant hose running on top of the block into the back of the water pump.

if you're having to refill the coolant, that means that you are leaking it somehow. not good. fix the problem, don't band-aid it by just refilling it.

Check for coolant leaks, a leak will make the temps go higher.
