Arrow Simple question..... can't find last connection with new engine install.

Just replaced my engine........ for whatever reason, i can't seem to find the oil pressure guage connector for the life of me. I have the red/yellow connector of the wiring harness, but where the heck does it plug into? I've stared at this for too long with no revelation, and my memory isn't kickin in......

Thanks for any help...

Matt

There's a button on the end of the oil pressure sender (located just under the oil filter holder)

Are you referring to the round pin next to the oil pressure sender? I have the little connector that just pushes onto it...... didn't think that was the oil pressure gauge connection - since my oil pressure gauge still doesn't work with it connected. What i have unconnected is a rectangular, single spade, black plug (which i thought is the oil pressure gauge connector)

thanks,

matt

No,the round pin is the heat gauge.Look at the oil sending unit, its about 2 ins in diameter and there is a small button looking thing in the centre of it facing the drivers fender, then look at your connector--one side has a cut-out maybe 1/4 in long.Slide the connector, cut out towards the button thing and it hooks over it.
