Silver exterior, _____ interior?
Well what color do most silver FCs have for the interior? For some unfortunate reason I am thinking they have the fugly red interior I hope not. If the one I am prolly gunna get tomorrow does, how do you think it will look if i change the carpet to gray and get gray seat covers for now? Also how hard is it to paint the dash? What about just replacing it? Thanks alot.

Oh ya? That is good news. One of my friends rode in this particular TII at night and said it was dark and he thought it was blue. Thanks for cheering me up guys.

White/silver: Blue
Red/Black: Gray
Dark gray/Gold: Red
AE: Black (my fav, My interior is about 30% 10th AE now )

My black 87 T2 came with the marooney brown ugly interior. i am in the process of dying it black with a metallic blue trim. so far so good, except when i started, i used spray-on vinyl paint, not real dye, so those parts will have to be stripped and re-done with stuff that actually dyes the vinyl, not just cover it. but so far it's pretty easy. just time consuming for the blue trim, because each little peice has to be sanded, painted, wetsanded, painted again, then wetsanded again, then clearcoated, then wetsanded, and then buffed. but it looks really good. its like glass!

I have a goldin commet S5 GXl and I have that "fugly" maroon color and I love it. It is an extremelly rare color in any cars besides these and I think it looks good on gold backdrop. People are just like Ooooo....*drool*. Plus if you wanted to think so I guess the red could make you look like somekind of a pimp. I don't look at it that way cause I can only fit one woman in the car and you goto have more than one to be a pimp.

Hey Ryde,
Mine had the maroon interior. I have replaced the carpet, door panels, and headliner with gray and will be dyeing the dash and plastic trim soon. I am replacing the seats with Sparcos. I'll post some pictures this weekend now that I've got it back from the stereo shop.
I think it looks much better without the maroon carpet.
