Question side molding?

quick question guys. dose anyone here think if i raped the door moldings off a gen one in the junk yard i could put them on my 88 gxl? i don't have one in front of me and pictures aren't clear enough on Google maybe some one here has done this or considered it. i ask because my local yard are completely DEVOID of gen 2 everything including shells so maybe there is another way about this.

They are different lengths. So no, they won't fit directly.
