shut off on me.
s4 TII well im going down the road and start coming to a red light. i put the clutch in and i have a habbit of watching the rpm. well it went below 500 so i started giving it some gas but that did nothing and it shut off.
i pull to the side of the road turn it over and it starts but the rpm jumps to about100 and then it dies.
i pop the hood nothing leaking no vac leaks so i do the deflooding and it starts right up and has been running strong since.
this is a fresh rebuild with 1900 miles on it.
what would cause it to shut off like that and then deflood and run perfectly fine?
i checked the plugs and they are fine
could this be leaky injectors? i am getting pretty bad mileage

I've heard that when you get a rebuild on a 13b it has to build compression. Somewhere along the way to building that compression it is possible to flood the engine and you must use the deflood procedure. Have you had the compression checked?
