what about those people that are waiting for there engine to go on them before they get it ported... might as well go for show and then you will get the go... i have a n/a with 85000 miles so y mess with it when its going strong...so i gave the interior a personal touch and i have a custom body kit that will be on next spring...later get the go...

Zoom Zoom, I am all about the go, but its my Daily driver ( well i drive a Truck to work but) So i like to look good beating, riced out civcs and what have you. I go with teh 2:1 rule. do two thing that make you faster, or handle, stop better, than 1 looks good, than two faster and so on. So far its been working

as for show or go.. both.. but im favor go more.. all i have to say is.. if your car is show.. you must have atleast something to back it up=power.. but, if you car looks like a hoopty. but you can at least hit 12's or lower.. all i can do is praise..

Can I vent for a minute? I voted GO! (zoom zoom)
Why would does that **** you off if it is not your car. I'm more into "go" myself but if that makes a person happy why do you even care??

I voted "go" cause the crappy looking car really HELPS when you need to duck out of a police chase.&nbsp I can't even count the number of time I've seen the blue lights go on, and then I duck into a group of cars without a second glance...

This is a pointless thread, who is actually going to say "I am all show, who cares about going fast". Noone. But I am prolly 75-25% with go.

I think you gotta have a bit of both...not talkin show paint or body kits, but a clean car, lowered on some nice 16's/17/s with some meaty tires and a nice exhaust...more than enough to make these cars really stand out!!

If it doesn't make the car faster or more fun to drive, who cares? Why should I spend my money to impress the homeboy wannabes? Sleeper mode all the way, maybe a few 1.3L badges to really rub it in when I pass them.
Go comes last. When you have all the mechanicals just the way you want them, then it's time to make her pretty. That way you don't have to worry about bangin' up all that prettiness when you're turning wrenches.

the funniest thing i ever saw was these 2 kids test driving a civic that had just been lowered to about .5 inches. It also had what apeared to be a pepboys 'can o' rice' muffler. They came my street tword me, stoped, turned around doing a 3-point turn in the middle of the street useing a bit of my neighbors driveway and went the other way. My bro and i where eyeballing them the hole time and when they started going away, they gave it a little gas and the car sounded like this, "bbbblllllaaaaahhh!" as the car crept away to what seemed to be a 15mph shift point.
Is there anything worse then having a really loud car thats slower then ****? another fine example of show, and no go.
Them civics are so slow they have to swap in another 4-banger from an accura to try and get some power, seems there stock engines are not a good foundation.

personaly I would have Show before I had even a little go. but thats just me, I like going to those car shows where you see the coolest stuff and drool over everyones car and I want people drooling over my car.. The LAST thing I need is a fast car, really.. I am 18 and I cant go fast anymore because then I will loose my licence because of stupid crap I have done in the past. so really I dont care if the car looks like show qualiy but it can barly drag it's own *** anywhere but if it gets me to where I need to go than thats fine!. It seems every questions I ask on here turns into "Thats gonna be too heavy for your car and it is gonna be slow" or "That spoiler is going to make drifting even harder" really I dont care.

And I want to add that I am not talking about ricey stuff.. The heavy stuff would be audio equipment, ect. and the spoiler wouldent be a 747 wing. (I know how the flaming works around here.. lol)
