It's simple really. You just have to decide what you want more.
Single
-Can deliver slightly more power
-Looks like your exhaust is broken because the other side of the bumper still has the cutout
Dual.
-Quiter
-Looks complete and keeps the "symetry"....I probably spelled that wrong.

knowledge junkie
That's easy. TRUE Dual output dual exhaust (STEREO). It flows better than the single exhaust.
I think some of the SCCA outlets sell the dual output exhaust manifold.

"If the pipes are the right size, a dual will always outflow a single. I don't know what size those off the shelf systems are, but if you split the 3" into dual 2.5" pipes (with 2.5" mufflers) this will outflow a single 3". Yes, the Y creates some loss, but the dual 2.5" pipes have a total of 40% more cross-sectional area than a 3". Put another way each pipe and muffler only has to pass half the exhaust through a pipe only 30% smaller. The net result is more flow. This is simple engineering, not rocket science. A dual may also weigh (say) 20lb more, but since this is less than 1% of the cars weight, I don't think you're gonna notice. Looks and cost are a strictly personal thing, buy what you think looks best and you can afford. It's your car."

in all seriousness, if you are into looks get a dual catback, if you are in a budget and don't mind the louder sound go single

If you don't want that hole on one side w/ a single then take a rotozip and chalk a line on the bumper from the top on one hole to the top of the other and cut a strait line and you have 1 bid hole w/ a 4.5" exhaust tip plus it will lessen drag a little bit(tiny tiny tiny bit). Jut what im going to do, I want the sound (ive heard that a single is deeper than a dual) I want people to know i mean business. But its your car so you decide, just throwing ideas out there.

Racing Beat is great. Here are some before and after pictures when I installed them on my FC.

I switched from a custom 3'' single setup to the full racingbeat turboback.
It cut the sound down almost to stock(which is one of the primary reasons I got it), and I definatly felt a noticeable power increase. I like the look much better than my old coffee can muffler; but I still miss the throaty growl of the single a little bit. I have people ask me frequently if its the stock exhaust- good if you're building a 'sleeper.'
I recommend dual.
