If your not already, yes it would be a good idea for you (with your setup) to use all 9s.

9's are a cooler plug, so anything to help our engines stay cooler would benefit. mazda only used the 7's for emission purposes, so i have read and heard.

it seems that people say to use the 9's when you have a TII. supposedly helps hi end power.

i have used 9's all around for the last 2,900 miles and gotta say it feels slightly better.

im just looking for anyway to help my motor run cooler, the 9's if anything will help with detonation and preignition at least by reducing combustion temps.

They should be the same threading. Sure you didn't cross thread?

How do "colder" spark plugs keep your engine cooler? I thought a colder plug just reached peak efficiency at higher temperature (meaning they take longer to "warm up", which is why they're called colder plugs).
