should i be reading this?

I have an 89 Mazda RX-7 N/A and i hooked up an SAFC to the computer. before I did the rebuild i could swear that it read variable readings of mmhg (pressure right?) well it read a variable of negative pressure from the engine. but now since i did the rebuild it is stuck at 765 ish mmhg of negative pressure no matter what. Am i crazy or is the SSAFC suppose to read pressure on an N/A?
