Unhappy should I part out a GTUs?

obviously, parting it out will bring more money than selling the complete car.

but .... want to see your input. BTW, it is a 89 GTUs.

thanks

is it running?
how many miles on it?
depending on the condition of the car it may be worth more whole
if its all torn up with a dead motor then part it out
I'll gladly take the rear diff assembly off your hands

well, the car is complete, 9/10 interior, 8/10 exterior, rust free, with complete aftermarket exhaust from engine to the back all the way. runs, and drives. except the low compression.

have too many cars. not sure when will have the time to rebuild it.

if it's a GTUs, sell the body alone and part out the exhaust and interior and what not... That's how I'd get my money And it's a GTUs, which I never ever see *rare-ish*

They're not as rare as you might think.....

Personally, I think their drivetrain parts in an 86 sport shell is the way to go in SCCA ITS racing....

Sell the car. There are way more rust bucket rx7s with blown motors then there are rust free good running rx7s. Especially GTUs which are more rare then all the others.

Sell the car! Don't part it out, what a waste!

I would never part out a GTUS considering the rarity. NA motors are cheap I would toss another one in and get it running again. Hell if I was on your side of the country I would buy it off you and do it myself....I remember someone was selling a rebult NA ported motor on this forum for a $1000 SHPPED!

sell it to someone who will appreciate it. we just had someone in seattle area part out a RUNNING 100% straight GTUs. he might make 1000 in parts as opposed to the 3k he could've got for the car.
