should i paint or powdercoat?
i'm having trouble deciding wheather i should paint alot of my engine peices or get them powdercoated. basically all that will be covered is the entire intake mainfold, alternator, pullies, strut bar braces, brake calipers, many brackets, custom intake tubing, tow hooks, water pump housing...ect. now my car is red and i'm thinking of going with a metal flake black, anodized blue and a gold sheme or should i go with a metal flake black, gold and metal flake red or should i take away one color and just stay with two. now all these colors i can get in just a spray can. the gold will go on the manifolds and is high temp paint to 500 dg. im worried about the other paint falking off. now im sure i can get all those colors in the powder. think i should save up and give the whole bunch of parts to a powder coater or go cheap and buy some spray cans?

Powdercoat. I think you'll like the results better rather than ordinary high temp paint. There's a thread on here where I guy got his water pump, front plate, and intake manifolds powdercoated blue. Search for it and see the difference.
Edit: click to the next page and there it is.
