Should I paint my FC black or yellow?

If it's yellow, I'll prolly take off the black side paneling (so it looks less like a school bus) and use Corvetter or Hummer yellow. So it won't look like a Ryder truck. How's Mazda's stock yellow? Any ground effects, though, could be black.

The interior is all black leather. Nice rims are going on it. Tell me what you guys think.

If the stock color is black, I say keep it black. I have heard stories of guys who spend well over $4k and still aren't happy with their paintjobs. It's a real PITA. Pain it black, or something close to black. =)

I once had a yellow car...

Had to paint it within 3 months because yellow is should only be on race cars and school buses.

Some cars(very few) can pull off yellow, and I don't think the FC is one of them. Ask yourself if you'd still want a yellow car in a couple years....

Black is classy

Yellow is my favorite color. But theres one thing you need to think about when going yellow. It stands out. If your the kinda guy who likes to speed, and/or drive not in a legal manner, I'd say go black, at night you'd have an even better chance of not getting cought than with yellow.

Here is one that is already yellow (all yellow)

should be at the top

Black. FC's make really sharp, clean cars when they are black (kinda like my 88 GXL!) Whenever I see a yellow car, I immediatly think of Integra TypeR's and Corvette C5R's. FC's, in my opinion, are made to wear either black or the traditional red. That's my $.02

Black is the way to go if my car was anything but Red i would make it black, but on the repaint i think i am staying Red. But after looking at the yellow one on top for a wile i do like it but that too much for a daily driver

I dunno. Yellow might come out looking like a ServiceMaster van.

What kind of options do I have to consider for both options?

Paint it with black and yellow stripes, and then you can call it the Killer-B.

Oh yeah, and you need one of these engines, with the housings painted black and yellow of course:

Well, what do I have to know about paint while getting a paint job? What should I look out for? Who's good at it?

If you want a good paintjob stay away from cheap places ie Maaco. They usually do an average job but you might aswell go all out and get it done right.

Oh ya yellow definately stands out.
