Should I have used a gasket sealer for my UIM, LIM?
Ok so I'm still having the damnedest time getting my idle right after replacing the LIM. It wont idle (warm) above 600, cant raise the speed with the BAC, TPS is set right (both to 1 ohm and the two light methode), speed doesnt lower with BAC disconected, etc..... All the symptoms I have point to a vac leak. I went over all of the hose conections using the break cleaner method and I beleive I got all of the damn things. But still no luck.
So my question is...should i have used any sealent on the Gaskets between the LIM and the "block" and/or the LIM and the UIM. Both gaskets were brand new and I bolted them down pretty good. (no torque wrench though)
My only thought is that i still have a slight leak on a hose. Or the air is getting in through one of the manifolds due to a bad gasket seal.

Keep Right Except to Pass
No, if your surfaces were clean and not warped, a new gasket is all you need. I like the idea Hylomar after scraping my old gaskets and it should be easy to dissassemble next time with the possiblility of gasket re-use.
If a low idle is the only problem I would just move the hard stop.
