Exclamation Should I be driving my car in the WINTER??

I live in mass and is it just me or would it be suicide driving my FC this winter, cuz i mean ive heard how bad they are in the snow. But im wondering if theres anything i could get to make it possibly better in the snow?? Snow tires, not driving it, any ideas guys??
I have another car its a really nice accord and ive been debating selling it cuz im affriad of drivng the FC in the winter plus i dont want to subject my sweet little car to the winter season

The Rx-7 is quite competent in the snow. who said differently?? Snow tires do help. Driven my car through many winters and lots of snow. The salt is hard on things though.

REally? hmm well the only reason i said that was cuz my uncle had an 87 tII and he said it was horrible in the snow, but i have an N/A so maybe its a little better? Not as much power harder to spin out? yah

Studded winter tires, and a couple sandbags in the back. Better have some Nawz ready for when you get stuck in the ditch

the torque and boost of a tII would be hell in the snow i wouldnt suggest driving your car in the winter just based on the fact that your car will rust easier

yeah, well i still don't know how they made an AWD RX-7, because it's not like you can trans-mount a rotary engine like a 4-banger.

I would love to have an AWD 7 but i just don't think it's a streetable mod.

Drove my '90 GTU NA for 12 years in the snow. It was a horrible experience. After 1st year always had 200-250 lbs weight in rear. The 50/50 weight distribution does not put a lot on drive wheels.

Rust guaranteed in winter.. period. Destroyed mine despite bi-weekly car washes.

Use the Accord this winter, save the 7's body and work on it over the winter.

50/50 weight balance = NON-uber uncontrol.

It's like neutral in spins and MUCH easier to control than other RWD cars IMO.

... not to mention it's FUN AS ****!

Check out Michelin's Pilot Aplin tires. There designed for sports cars in snow/wet.

2nd gens arent too bad in snow bc of the low torque (especially in the NA) numbers and peaky horsepower. I drove mine last year w the 17's and 'summer only' sumitomos Of course it only snowed like twice haha

Why is everyone always so afraid of driving their RX7's in the winter??? It's a car...car's are made for all seasons.

Thats like asking if your jetski will run in saltwater as well as freshwater....

Even the use of sand bags In the Trunk that are used to weigh down the rear are abit overrated. Let alone Rear Wheel Drive. For those who stress It being difficult to drive In the snow are quite simply not very good drivers.
