Should I buy this engine?

Is $450 too much for a zero mile (fresh rebuild) S4 Turbo engine w/out tranny?

Hey bro, i bought my 89 s5 turbo motor/trans from a place called osakamotors.com for $850 shipped to my door from Canada. Low miles motor, just waiting to install my microtech to see how she pulls. Heard the motor run already but dont have the s5 ecu/harness so figured I avoid it and more stuff"emisions" with microtech lt-8s.

-Check out that site. Later, Dustin

a newly rebuilt Turbo motor should be in the $1500-$2000 ball park.

I would not trust a "newly rebuilt" motor that someone is asking only $400 for it.

and a Jspec as mentioned by Lovingthefc3s should not be confused in anyway with a rebuilt motor. At best a Jspec is a used motor that is probably a good candidate for rebuilding.

that is very cheap. I would question it being to low of a price instead of to high. Blown motors sell for ~ 500
