Should I buy it....

Hey, Some of you right remember my last post about wanting to buy an rx7 and sell my supra. Well, Does this sound like a good deal? I cant get in contact with the guy, But the car looks pretty clean, aside from the passenger side fender damage. But body work is much less frsutrating than engine or electrical problems lol. You know you did it right if it looks nice . It says street port jdm engine, So how much power would that add? i was guessing itd be at the 200-210 mark, as in crank HP. I have to ask him if he still has it set to stock boost too. But, thanks in advance, I cant wait to get my first rotary car... lol.

Too expensive for that amount of body damage. I'd pay $2500 tops for that car. Look through the classifieds here and see what you'd get for $4800, you'd be surprised.

also, if you are going to spend that kind of money, make sure the owner can provide recipts for the major parts they replaced at the very least and the work done to the car. especially if they claim the car has a new engine!

Seems a little high, but the body damage doesn't look too bad. If compression is good, 3000-3500 would be as high as I'd go.

That guy used to post here. Those are Mustang GT wheels, just so you know. It's a running, driving (as far as you know) S5. I wouldn't expect to pay much less than that. Is it only the pass. fender that's damaged? Easy and relatively inexpensive fix if that's it.

If it really does have a newly rebuilt J-spec, then thats not too high of a price. I wouldn't get it until I personally drove it and checked it out, thoguh.

Well, of course id give it a good check up and test drive, Im incredibly **** about cars I buy. Doesnt seem like too bad of a deal if he can prove it has a rebuilt motor, new clutch, etc. But, The car was removed and he finally emailed me saying its not for sale anymore. So, Does anyone know of a turbo rx7 with a clean body in or around NJ? id be willing to go into NY or PA too...haha. That was the only one id consider buying on autotrader in a reasonable distance.
