Should I?

I'm looking at buying a 2nd Gen RX7 but I know very little about them other than they are supposed to be a great ride. I currently own a 1999 Civic Si and enjoy it immensely but I returned to university and now am quite broke

I'm selling my current car and looking for something nice/relatively reliable (but hell it don't hurt to be fun).

The car in question has never been winter driven and has 100,000 miles on it. What should I be concerned with? I hear about problems etc... especially with getting work on the rotary engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jason

this comes up alot, do a search (upper right corner of the page), you should be able to find alot of links to pages that will give you buyers guides... also read the faq at the top of the forum

as far as reliablity goes, they are preety good if you take care of them... n/a's last a bit longer than the turbo's

i would recomend doing most of the work yourself though, since most shops wont know their *** from their elbow working on the engine, and if you find one that does its not gonna be cheap... but they arent that complicated, so working on it yourself is preety easy and thats what the forum is for
