Instrument Cluster (will 89-91 from a NA fit into a 87-88 T2)
I need to get a new instrument cluster. Can anyone tell me if the cluster from a 89-91 N/A will work in a 87-88 T2. Thanks for your input....

It can be done. But requires re-wiring/re-pinning the harness.
There was a thread on it not long ago, you may wish to use the search function found in the top right hand corner of this page.

It was my thread that I asked this, and I now have a working S5 N/A cluster in my S4 N/A, it just required some wire-relocation..

Now a N/A cluster in a Turbo will likely be different, because of the boost gauge in the turbo is a coolant temp gauge in the N/A, so I cant help you on that..
