Mazdatrix vs. Corksport They are basically the same price and have o be smoother than the one I'm rockin. Let me get some feedback from people using either or both before I buy one.

check out kerebrus's Group buy.(dude on forum)
also look at a C's Shifter.
I stayed away from any shifter that had a Bushing in the slot of the ball that pivots on the pin.It seemed to me that they would wear out fast and you would be stuck with sloppy shifting.

I picked up one of the cheapo short shifters off ebay.
At first it was terrible, too stiff, required a LOT of effort side to side.
After playing around with washers and sanding bushings, I ended up taking the stock plate off a stock shifter, set it on top of the assembly, put the plate they provided under the little chamber extension deal, lower bushing on top of that, and upper bushing on top of the big shifter ball (These are technical terms and will be on the test) and ground the bottom off the small shifter ball, bout an 1/8th of an inch.
Result? I have a nice firm short shifter, with an easy throw, no rattles, and a throw about the length of a cigarette pack center to center from 1st to 2nd.
Grand total? 25 bucks and some thinking.
