Do you recommend me putting a short shifter in my 91 RX-7. If so what kind is the best one I can get. As I just bought a Apexi Power Intake, and it works great, but the entire box is in Japenese. I was wondering how much of a horsepower increase did that give me. Thanks.

 

Just the intake alone probably gave you 1HP. Ive heard that the mazdatrix short shifter is pretty decent , and relatively cheap. Short shifters may require some getting used to, yes they make the shifts shorter, but there is also less leverage, which make the shifts notchier and require more energy to shift.
