I just got my spoiler for my FC last night. The problem is it looks terrible. It looks ok in the picture but on the car (in primer) it looks terrible. It looks huge like a 747 just decided to give me its wing. The problem is its been shipped from the US to Australia so taking it back isnt going to work. Do you guys think i should paint it up(black) and put it on or have no spoiler. There wil be picture of my car finnished next week. It's been 6 months in the making so i'm excited. Your thoughts would be sweet as. On another note the car did make 302rwkw or around 500bhp.

Well, I always thought that particular wing was pretty ugly. I say go clean!

 

....get rid of the wing.....it doesn`t go with the rest of the body kit.

Ya know.... I've been looking and looking at wings for FC's.... and the more i look.. the more i've come up with the idea that the stock TII spoiler on my car looks better than 99.9% of the aftermarket jobs i have seen.

Something about the way the rear window curves down to the deck lid just makes it really hard to get an aftermarket spoiler to look right.

I saw a guy at a car show once with a custom made, modified "supra" style C/F spoiler that was about 6 inches high that looked stunning, its really hard to describe what it was styled like, but it reminded me of a cross between the "supra" style and a ferrari f40 style.. but, so far.. that was the only one that made it past the "OK" stage.

Maybe I'm an old fart, but the last time I saw an aluminum "shopping cart push bar" spoiler with one of those scaffolding looking risers on an FC.. I couldn't decide if I should laugh or get out and beat the kids *** for screwing up an FC with that giant metal monstrosity....

 

I don't like it; Seen it quite a few times before. Take it off and go S4 styles =P Or get one of those hot S5 GTU wings *drool drool* =O

I agree. The OEM wings are some of the best looking wings for FC's I've seen. Theres a few that look good, but not many.

I usually choose to laugh my *** off to keep myself from jumping up and ripping it off. I've only seen one of those that looked good on an FC, and it was a pure race car with a widebody kit on it. At least I haven't seen an FC with one of those stupid double/triple element wings yet.

 

yeah now im screwed I really want to the put wing cos i paid for it. But damn i think you guys are right. i might just go no spoiler and go clean. But first I will paint it and put it on the car just to see if I like it to be sure it really does looks as bad as im thinking. It easily enough removed and yes I agree metal alloy wings blow.
