I would like input and/or feedback from people who have shipped TII hoods.

My idea is to frame (wood) around the hood, then run slates (wood) over/across the hood on the front and back. I would use foam (sheets) insulation between the hood and slates. Then call Fedex frieght.

It will be traveling aprroximately 650 miles.

thats a lot. i used to work for a shipping company. if u want to do it that way it will survive a war.

my buddy got his VIS hood shipped in a couple layers of cardboard. arrived fine.
