Shifting the powerband

Shifting the powerband
Everytime the topic of headers comes up, it's been always mentioned that the powerband would be shifted up in the rpm range.
In a bone stock setup, the powerband is typically between 4000rpm to 7000rpm. If the headers are installed along with better intake and race pipe, cat-back, how would the power band react?
Would it just shift up? Say to 5000rpm - 8000rpm? Or would it stretch out the powerband 4k-8k?
Also, with this full exhaust setup, with working six ports, when the VDI opens, would the effect be more drastic? eg)push back on the seat more??
Thanks.

I dunno. Feels more powerful through all the bands if you ask me. Although doing the burn-outs and drifty stuff requires a little more torque and higher RPM's, i say it shifts about 500rpms more, so 7500-8000 would be max?? Don't matter with out 8k redlines though
