Question Shifter Bushings Question

Ok my shifter is all looses like all of my friend rx7’s. I don’t know what replacement parts to buy for it at the dealership. Someone told me it was the bushings under the shifter some plastic piece. If someone could please provide the part numbers that I will need I will greatly appreciate it. I absolutely hate dealing with the local dealer and I don’t want to ask the dumb *** behind the counter the part numbers.

http://www.mazdatrix.com has a full write-up. I'd just order it from them - call 'em up, and they know just what you're talking about. Much less hassle .

Mazdatrix's site also explains how you cannot get the lower bushings from any mazda dealer. I tried still and mazdatrix was right. They also have a pretty good step by step install procedure.

I just replaced my shifter bushings there are like 4 sets of parts. They are;
Gearshift boot set middle- 59-036
Gearshift Boot Inner-59-048 (86-88) 59-043 (88-92)
Shifter bushing upper-59-046
Shifter bushing lower-59-047

Only prob is these were outa a victoria british catalog, however when i recieved the parts they were in Mazda geniun parts bags with the part numbers
