Ok, so the other day the driveline went out on my car, the crazy thing came flying straight up and broke the housing on the shifter. does anybody know how to get the shifter and it's housing off? I have tried everything. there is a little metal rod that it slides back and forth on, and I dropped the transmission a little, so that I could get the shifter housing to slide freely. I have taken the whole thing apart and it still won't come off. please help!
