Exclamation She sat for 2 years, now im pullin the engine

ok 1st off im %90 i think i lost an Apex seal out the back on the rear rotor. so it sat for almost 2 years. now i moved and took the 7 with me the motor is almost out only 3 more bolts, (can only work on it on the weekends). i mite rebuild it im not sure what im going to run into, the car never ran right it was alright but i could tell it was not 100% it dident smoke at all. im not sure what i should look for as in what mite go bad on the inside like the o2 and things like that, HELP!!! what am i gettin myself into?

Only 123K? Man, after you clean everything up real good and throw some new seals in her, she ought to be good to go

Don't forget to clean out the fuel system...

123K on an N/A? I wouldn't think that it's an apex seal problem, but the engine building gurus might know something I don't about that...

As far as rebuild kits, ask 3 people and you'll get 3 different answers, lol...You've got Mazda OEM, RotaryAviation, Atkins...

Yea i was thinkin Atkins , and gettin that video for 30 bux..ok today i was takeing the last 3 bolts out, (waiting for engine lift) i got in my car shut the door, i was playing with that passenger door because it wont open and i get to the ECU. to pull the wires through the firewall, so i lock my door to see what it felt like from the other, and **** im locked in lucky the back was open, i got out, i had to stick my key in and bang on the door to get it to unlock it was a bitch... it would not unlock all the way (like a last lil click) i took the door panel off the driver side it needs lube on the inside that all wokred it a lil bit and it's fine, but i cant take my panel off the other door if i cant get it open, any ideas i need to get to the rods inside there so i can take my kick panel off.

i heard that rotaryaviation doesnt break. i guess its a decision you have to make on your own, if you decide to rebuild.
