i cant take credit :P its not my car. but its actually quite common on rx7's with a free flowing exhaust. rev high and change gears, she'll burn her **** off!

u know what i think the 7 does look better with the body moldings.. just a little too plain w/o them. But IRL the 7's do look nice with just the moldings taken out. My friend did it to his. But it looks very nice w/o those ugly door handles... nice job node. Too bad our cars don't have the FD handles...

about the lost remote, two things you can do, one have a safety switch some where you know about or 2 you can leave the key in the door that way you always have something to fall back on. I like the hiden switch idea better. the shaved molding, no dont think so, i was just going to remove mine and have the parking light recesed in to the body more.

AutoLoc sells a safty switch where, you hit it wish a 12v +, and it activates the poppers. "Jumper cables anyone?"

sry to bump a really old thread but im in the process of shaving my door handles and i cant find a good spot to mount my lock actuator its like there isnt enough room. does anyone have any pics of where they mounted and hooked theres up to the latch assembly in there door??

I did the shaved door locks it was cool at first but decided to get new doors. Grew out of it quick with regret since I had to buy a set of doors.

ya i dont see much of a point the stock door handles are flat to begin with. and if for security purposes a window still breaks just as easy... id only see a reaosn if its a show car or something.
