The ones made from now on will accept the weather strip and the interior panel.
Thanks, Paulo.

Thats our sunroof i told Helio or i posted somewhere, we supplied SMP with their FC carbon parts. several panels where sold with no problems.
back in the day there was a complaint about the CF SUNROOFS not taking the upholstery panel, we made an addition to the mold wich was the backside, thats when the weather strip stop fitting and the fitment issues occured some worst then others.
the new panels wont have this issues.
Paulo.

did you use Credit card or paypal by credit card to pay? do a charge back and list the reason as "Items significantly not as described" and offer to return the item shipping at the sellers cost as the Item is not as described, I have had to deal with a similar situation and that is how I dealt with it.

Is there a time frame to do this?

Paulo failed (again) at providing me with a product

well i decided to email paulo through their site b/c i need a sunroof and to try to help resolve your problem knonfs. he replied quickly, maybe you should try emailing them.
here's what he said

"Wilkent, i just went trough a redesign on the panel it nows fits perfect
and takes the OEM seal.
you might need to bore out the holes for the bolts on the frame/chassis
but nothing major.
here are some pictures, Lmk.
Thanks, Paulo."

pictures were kind of small but it looked alright.
the fact that he's ignoring you makes me kinda iffy on this guy though

Thanks for the effort, but Paulo stopped responding to my emails & PMs a long time ago.

If you read my whole ordeal with him, you will notice two things:
1 - He claimed that there was no issue with his sun roof
2 - His was OEM like

6-8months after going back and forth with him, he finally admitted that there was an issue with his mold. See how coward he is, and how shady he runs his "bussines", that he won't even admit to his fucked up product, AKA why he told you that:

There is no "you might"; its a YOU WILL have to bore the holes for the bolt. Please go through this thread, and look at my pics. You can also see them here:
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ighlight=paulo

On the OEM rubber, he claimed to have fixed the mold after I pointed out both problems (his CF missing the a place to mount the oem rubber seal, and the sun roof not fitting on the car properly). So, if he fixed the mold so that it now accepts the oem rubber seal; why not fix the mold, so that you don't have to bore out the OEM bolt holes?

Paulo is a scam artitst, that runs a "bussines" from his dad's garage, by sub contracting others to the CF layout. That's why he can't fix his fuckups, because he is not doing the work himself.

You should email him back, and ask him to look at this thread. Chicken **** can't even defend himself

i feel your pain. i just read the thread and i have to agree with a major part of your points. I went throug the same thing with paulo. but eventualy i got my parts about 10 months later. I was the one that gave him a major part of the ideas he has, like the inner mirror triangle, exhaust shield, ect. I sent him all of my plastic interrior parts to make molds out off them. he had me waiting for a long time but eventually came through. he is for the most part in mexico making the parts, then takes them to san diego to ship them out. he did avoid me for a long time and that was he excuse. i did get 2 cf sunroofs from him and they both fit perfect but with out the weather strip. the other parts he makes are good quality. keep triying and dont give up. or pm me i might be able to help you. tony.

Is that the one that you were going to send me as a replacement?

If I want the rad panels or not?

You should read the whole thread AGAIN, I don't feel like quoting myself And please don't say that you don't have my address, because I have a couple of snapshots of "our" emails and PMs; it will clearly demonstrate that I have sent you my address NUMEROUS times

Thanks for the offer, but this is between me and him. He needs to be a man, and run his bussines the way a man would. On the meantime, I will alert ALL www.rx7club.com members of how shady he is.
