Shaking Engine

About to buy a TII, but the car has no problems, except I'm worried about something.

When I pop the hood, the belts seem to squeak, and the engine seems to shake alot. The guy said the car was running rich? What do you guys think about the two problems?

If the engine is physically shaking a lot, I would jack the car up and take a peek at the motor mounts. As for the squeaking belts, they might just be old and in need of replacement. Belts is not a big deal, neither are motor mounts if you can find used one(s) in good condition.

Due to the low mounting location of the motor-mounts, these engines will torque out to one side when accelerating and if the mounts are worn it will shake like a bitch.

Get new motormounta and a engine torque brace

does it feel like it has a lack of power? engines can shake pretty violently if the plugs arent firing on all cyliners (or rotors). Otherwise, definately timing or mounts. If its shaking that much its not because of lack of a torque brace.

Probably the timing, it shakes but it has a hesitation to it. The engine will run, than it sounds as if its stopped for a split second, than go back to normal. It's constant, but the car seems fine.

Is It In stock condition? Maybe It's running rich b'c under default, If a sensor Is not plugged In or not working the ECU will run It this way to spare the Motors life. Look here. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...highlight=rich

Or simply the car needs a major tune up.

The car has the following mods:
a g-force computer upgrade, clutch, fd fuel pump, bigger injectors (no sure what there are), 2-stage boost controler, performance pulleys(main, waterpump, alternater), removed air pump, no cat, hks catback exhaust, custom turbo inlet piping

Can it be the g-force ecu setting the air/fuel mixture to run rich? Or the bigger injectors and fuel pump? Also, what would I need for a major tuneup? I don't know much about rotary engines, but it should include plugs, wires, and what else?

Fuel and air filters, belts, any worn hoses...
