If it's a new rebuild, it may have air bubbles in the coolant lines somewhere. Those can stop the coolant flow, especially if they get caught at the water pump. Check the CSM for a good filling method:

phew

when i get back im going to bleed the coolant system. as for the coolant seals faultering, there is no other symptoms like exhaust smoke, power loss, leaking. The engine dosent have a lot of time left in my rig because im getting a 13b turbo. then ill rebuild that one. im also checking my thermostat since we recently replaced it. Mabye i got one that opens up at a hotter temp. there has got to be other things ill be schecking with a lot of scrutiny, the water pump, the hoses, even the new radiator. thanks for your help yalls ill report back if i fixxx it

The only kind to use is Mazda OEM t-stats. Did you use another kind?
