several problems. ideas?

i have several problems on my car that is really bugging me and i will pay the money to get it fixed. i just needa know whats wrong so i can tell the mechanics.

so i have a 10ae tii, engine rebuilt(1300 miles), street ported, wastegate is ported. brand new racing beat 3" downpipe, to a bonez 3" hi flow cat to a 2.5" apexi dual n1 catback. got the racing beat fuel cut defender and the greddy profec eo-1 boost controller. keep in mind all these parts are brand new. according to the boost controller, im boosting around 9-10 psi on stock turbo.

now heres the problem. when i try to push the car just to test it out. you can hear the turbo spooling, but the turbo doesnt seem to be spooling that loud. my friend sat in my car, and he says my 89 gtu-s na pulls harder than my TII. we thought it might be a bad turbo, but the mechanic disconnected some cable to the wastegate?? and it was fine. ignition timing is set properly according the them. someone suggested it might be a bad ACV? or i may need a ACV block off plate?

2nd problem. intoxicating smell. it smells like a mixture of fart/dumpster mixed with smoke and oil/gasonline fumes. the car doesnt smoke up or anything, but my god, it stinks! most notably when u first start up the car or when i try to boost. not to say it doesnt smell at other times. my 89 gtu-s has a greddy exhaust and it doesnt even smell most of the time, only when i first start it up and it smokes.

3rd problem. this problem really concerns me. alot of the time when i boost, i would hear 1 or 2 clicking noise, and it only last for a split second. its a kinda sound where it seems like something is loose but i dont think so. its kinda hard to explain but maybe someone may of encountered something similar?

last problem. when i first start up the car when its cold. it idles at 1500 rpm, ok thats fine, no problem. after about 3-5 minutes or so, it would idle at 2k rpm which is extremely wierd. it will not go down until after about 30 mins or so. i had my mechanics adjust my idle but since it only idles at 2k when starting up from cold, when its at hot, the idle is too low.

all these are aside from the hotstart issue....

again, im willing to spend or do whatever it takes to get the car in perfect running condition. i just need to know whats wrong. i guess you can say i want to restore the car to brand new condition.

hrmm... so replacing the entire turbo will fix it right? cause im planning to put in an aftermarket turbo, not now, but much later. i had the tps adjusted and the ignition timing set. what is the thermowax? and what is causing the clicking noise when i try to boost?

2nd problem, check your hatch seals, and your seals by the shift ****. You can get some mad smells through there.
